1.sell you unlimited plan and you find that its 10 GB only , when you contact them they say you need to request upgrade for more storage and when you do that the answer you that you should delete from your files like back up ,emails and many things to save space and the can't upgrade your storage .2.didn't send me invoice for renewing the plan and they stopped my services without notice, when i contacted them they said that i didn't pay and they lie and say we sent invoice and reminders they didn't even send me that they stopped the services i found out 2 days latter and when i tried to access my client area it was telling me there is no account under my user name so i tried to live chat them but it was not working as usual so i had to send them email they said that it i should pay and everything will be back in 20 - 40 mins and i payed ,it took more than 14 hrs and it worked for less than 12 hrs and got infected .they refuse to refund the money .
I'm switching everything to SiteGround as my experiences with them have thus far only been really positive (I could not rate their customer support more highly) whereas WebhostingPad is a completely lost cause. I'll let my last communication with Greg White speak for itself (I'm being asked to pay $70 for a "back up" of my website because I just missed the window to renew/download my website.) I obviously don't want to renew for a year now just so I can download my tiny website (so I can upload to SiteGround). It wouldn't even allow me to log into my account without paying for a year renewal.
I started using this service at the end of November 2015. I had no problems for two months. In February I began experiencing frequent down time which slowly progressed and became more frequent. Now it is nearly May and my service is down more often than not. The company offers a ridiculous 99% up time guarantee. Basically what they are offering is if you experience a years worth of bad service they will give you a months worth of bad service for free. You are better off staying away from this company.

If you stay on top of their deals you can renew your hosting service for around $2 a month (purchased for 5 years), otherwise, it will bill around $4 or $5 a month if you let it run out and auto renew. Their domain renewal is fixed $15 a year regardless of how many years you renew for (a little higher than most but you can get any available domain). My site is a photography site, www.MrClickProductions.com and I use small images to battle their slow load times. As a small business their affordable rates and customer support by phone (which few online cheap places have these days) have made the hosting service well worth it for me. I do wish they had a better website builder as I am not the best at web coding.

I am taking this time out to WARN all the future innocent potential victims who innocently think to use webhostingpad because of the advertised enticing low prices and all the "fluff" they market. They claim to have 'unlimited hosting space and bandwidth'. THIS IS NOT TRUE. This is what they write on their abuse terms read below:(All our hosting accounts do come with unlimited hosting space and bandwidth. But we start each account with a set limit but as you needs grow, simply contact us to request additional resources and we will increase it to whatever you need) for MORE $$ that is. Sounds whishsy washy all in one breath doesn't it? It has literally taken me 5 weeks to finish my small and modest website. however, I am a novice and I do use their cPanel templates. But that is not the reason. The reason is in order for me to access the cPanel where my website is being built I have to put in a Support Ticket. I am not being facetious. I literally mean I have to email support at webhostingpad each and EVERY time I want to work/review. Their reason is to many attempts to log in. This is impossible as I use a Password manager. Another one of their reason/excuses is I had some bad script on my website? I explained to them I was a novice and I was using their web templates. I do not know how to write cgi script? wth? In other words they don't know and by their support help, I don't think they pay those folks enough money to really care. All I know is it is very frustrating to submit a support ticket each and every time I want to review my paid in advance for website and email accounts. I since have lost numerous emails of potential customers. By the time I can access my emails I have very angry customers inquiring why I have not returned their emails? We'd be happy to help you set up a POP3 or IMAP so you don't run into this problem again, however. 2. Our reminder emails about renewals are automated, so if your contact information was correct and up-to-date, you received an email about the upcoming invoice. We have to stop service upon non-payment or else no one would pay for the services they're using. This is in our terms. As for why it may have taken 14 hours to start working again, that's likely a requisite for your payment method of choice. Once the payment is processed, we work to get the account and site back up as quickly as possible, though there can be extenuating circumstances. 3. What exactly do you mean by "got infected" because we'd be happy to help you work through it. We don't offer pro-rated refunds for misunderstandings, but we do offer support to help you address possible reasons why your site got infected, if that's what you believe happened, and help you to create more secure passwords and limit backdoors for hackers and viruses to get in.
