They actually called me a liar and refused to refund my fee, even though I tried to cancel my subscription BEFORE the due date. Unfortunately, their systems weren't working properly and I had to contact their customer service once I realized I had never gotten a confirmation of my cancellation.

But they cut my account 5 days before expiring ! That's so naive ! Luckily, I moved all my files just a couple of hours before that. My advice, if you are hosting your personal blog there, you should be fine. It's the cheapest out there like $1.99/ mo., but make sure you move before expiring.

As a relative novice in using a webhosting site, I have nothing but praise for Webhostingpad. I was a bit overwhelmed when I initially got the control panel, but the online help videos got me started. As I had questions my emails were quickly answered….. usually within hours. I made a number of phone calls and everytime, got to a live person within a minute or two. The staff are excellent in helping you out. The price is also extremely good. I use Frontpage to the chagrin of many, but the software works very well with webhostingpad. (Just let them know so your sure your on a server that uses the FP Extensions). Overall a great host.
