There are four different plan options offered by WP Engine for small and medium businesses. They primarily differ based on the number of sites you'll be able to host, the number of visits your site will be allowed each month, and the amount of bandwidth you'll receive. The Startup Plan allows you to set up one website, provides 50GB bandwidth, and will support up to 25,000 visitors each month.

If you're looking to sell products via your website, you'll want a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate. It safeguards the data sent from a customer's computer to your site's servers. Fortunately, WP Engine includes one, free of charge, with your hosting subscription. Considering that some web hosts make you buy an SSL certificate, I tip my hat to WP Engine for tossing one in for free.

Any serious WordPress site needs four things: security, speed, scalability, and service. Usually you can find a company that gives you one or two of these. Occasionally three, almost never four. WP Engine excels at all four. They are not just a hosting company, they are your partners in success. I’m always raving about them and give them my absolute best recommendation. On a scale of one to ten, I give them an eleven!
WP Engine partners with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform to build your websites on the same industry-leading architecture those companies use to power their own digital experiences. Global data centers and cloud coverage ensure your site is available and loading fast no matter where your visitors are in the world. And, with WP Engine optimizing these cloud environments for you, you can spend your technical resources building beautiful experiences instead of the systems to power them.

“I spent the majority of my post-Trinity career trying to be perceived not as a female leader but just somebody who gets things done. But being an executive who is also a mother of two daughters, I realized that I had a responsibility to advocate bringing your full self to work. Being different is what makes all of us stronger. I needed to have that realization personally in order to be a champion for it.
